About Ethan

Meet Ethan Tucker.

A Laurel Springs owner-operator who has worked the High Country for over ten years. When you hire Ethan, he is the one who shows up, looks at your site, and runs the machine.

Ethan Tucker has been in the excavation and grading business for more than ten years, providing reliable service to Alleghany, Ashe, Wilkes, Watauga and the neighboring counties. He is based in Laurel Springs, right at the Alleghany and Ashe County line, and he works the ground he grew up on.

If it can be dug, graded, or hauled around these mountains, Ethan has probably done it.

When you call Ethan, you are talking to the man who comes out, looks at your site, gives you the price, and runs the machine himself, start to finish. There is no crew you have never met and no manager in between. He has put in driveways that climb, pads on lots that drop off fast, septic in ground full of rock, and crossings over creeks that run hard after a storm.

The High Country is hard ground to work. Knowing where the rock is shallow, how the water moves, and what it takes to make a slope hold is not something you learn from away. Folks around here would rather hire a neighbor who has done it than a stranger who guesses, and that is exactly what Ethan is.

★★★★★
Ethan did an awesome job repairing the drainage issue on the road into my cabin, correcting the elevation on my driveway and creating two parking areas for me. He is very dependable, does what he says, and is reasonably priced. If you have any type of road work or driveway work you need done, give Ethan a call. You will be glad you did.
